When Chef's Freakout
I was messing around with working on my laptop this afternoon, trying to build up a dual boot Windoz and Jolicloud boot loader when my battery started to ware down. So, of course I went to plug it in to start recharging the battery again. Unfortunatlly, for what ever reason, the battery decided that it was no longer recharging and that my computer was now shutting down.
Did I mention that I was trying to download a very large ISO file?
Did I mention that the download was taking an inordinate amount of time do to our wonky WIFI server?
Did I mention there were tears?
I also think my blood sugar may have been a bit low but when I finally pulled my head out of my ass (thanks to![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
cat_77) and was able to think clearly I called tech support and was able to figure out the problem.
Asus by the way has awesome tech support. They also have very calm people on the other end who are willing to put up with your panicked calls at apparently all hours of the night. I can believe I use to do that in my other life prior to putting up with calls at all hours of the night from panicked cooks who....huh, guess nothing has changed much. :)
